The last couple of days have been busy. The hardwood floor was put down and part of the electrical was completed. We have lights!!! It is amazing what lights do. We have to wait 2 weeks for the hardwood floors to cure before they get stained.

Today the paint went up. We decided to paint before the chair rail went in so it would be easier. Here are the colors we chose.

Alot has been done since the last time I posted. The drywall is complete and the exterior stucco should be done on Monday. The floor starts on Monday also. The door jams and stucco mold look great. This weekend the room got primed so it will be ready for paint. It really is starting to look like a room again.

Toay we passed inspection for shear wall and insulation. Now we are cleared to start drywall. Also the stairs and the wall down to the garage got framed and poured today.

Today alot got done. The shear wall is almost complete, the insulation went in, the electrical on the patio was finished and the a/v wiring was finished. Here are some photos of some of the work.

Today we passed inspection on framing and rough electrical. Now we can do the shear wall and insulate. He will be back for inspection on Wednesday.

Today they finished framing the fountain on the patio and they had the concrete truck come to pour everything. It looks great! Inside the guys finished the framing and electrical for the inspection on Monday.

Today they framed out the patio and leveled out the backyard. Also yesterday the inspector came and we passed inspection for the floor. That gave them the go ahead to put in the floor insulation and put the plywood on the floor. On our way!

Today alot got done. The floor framing was finished, the electrical started, the audio video guy started and the block wall got finished for the patio. It is starting to take shape. We have an inspection on Wednesday for the framing of the floor. Cross your fingers!!

Today they finished framing the ceiling and the concrete was poured for the foundation and the patio wall. Also they are working on the framing of the walls. It is starting to take shape.

Today we had inspection for the foundation. Everything was fine. One signature signed off!!! Also they started to get the floor joists ready for the pouring of the concrete.

Today the last of the demo is done. They took off the stucco on the exterior walls. Now everything is ready to rebuild.

Today the bobcat arrived to start demoing the concrete on the floor and the backyard. They also took out the big glass sliding doors. I had to include a picture of the contractor!

The walls were taken out today. Here are a few photos of everything done. Behind the wood paneling on the wall we discovered a painting from where the old patio use to be. They had painted it on the back of the fireplace.

Today we started our family room remodel. When we bought this house this family room was not permitted and now it is up to us get it to code. Today the ceiling was being torn down. Here comes the mess!
